What you get

One upload, two answers

Most online tattoo design tools stop at the drawing. Inke also shows you where it will sit, and that is where regrets start.

A full flash sheet

Twelve variants of your idea on one page, so you compare shapes, line weight and density instead of fixating on the first result.

Try-on on your skin

A photorealistic preview on your own photo, same flow, no second tool. You judge size and placement on your real arm or rib.

Ten real styles

Traditional, blackwork, fine-line, dotwork, neo-trad, irezumi, realism, script, geometric and botanical. Pick one or mix three.

Trained on real flash

The model learned from flash sheets drawn by a working tattooer in Antwerp, not from generic stock art that no artist would needle.

Photos wiped in two hours

Your skin photo is deleted within two hours. Nothing is stored, nothing trains the model. Your body is not a dataset.

An export kit for your artist

The Session pack bundles your chosen designs so your tattooer can read your intent in one glance and redraw it properly.

How it works

From vague idea to shortlist

Four steps, about as long as it takes your tattooer to find a free slot in the calendar.

  1. 1

    Say what you want

Write it the way you would tell a friend: a fox in a forest, small, on the outer forearm. Add a style and, if you have one, a reference.

  2. 2

    Read the flash sheet

Twelve variants come back. Look at the negative space and the line weight, not only the subject. Cross out what you would never wear.

  3. 3

    Try it on your skin

Upload a photo of the spot. The try-on shows scale and flow on your body. Move it, shrink it, or kill it.

  4. 4

    Take it to a human

Export the shortlist and bring it to your tattooer. They adjust it for how skin heals and ages. The needle work stays theirs.

Flash, fast

Twelve takes before you commit

The slowest part of getting a tattoo is not the session. It is the months of not knowing what you want. A flash sheet breaks that loop. You see a dozen interpretations of one idea, so you learn what you like by rejecting what you do not. Dotwork shading feels too busy, the bold outline feels right, the small version looks lost. That is real information, and it costs you minutes.

Try-on

See it on your arm, not on a mockup

A design that looks great on white paper can fall apart on a curved forearm. Fine-line work in particular depends on where it sits and how big it is. The try-on puts your pick on your own photo so you check scale, angle and how the lines follow the muscle. It is a preview, not a promise: healed results depend on your skin and your artist's hand.

For the studio

Walk into the consultation prepared

A client who arrives with three clear options saves everyone an hour. Tattooers use Inke to turn a vague brief into a shortlist before the first sketch, then draw the final piece themselves. The tool is there to speed up the conversation. It does not replace the artist, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. If your tattooer cannot work from your references, find another one.

Questions

Before you design your tattoo online

Can I really design a tattoo online without drawing skills?
Yes. You describe the idea in plain words, pick a style, and upload nothing more than that. Inke returns a sheet of 12 flash variants you can compare side by side. You do not need to draw a line. You do need an opinion, because the tool gives you options and you choose what feels right.
How much does it cost to design a tattoo online with Inke?
The Single pack is 9 EUR once for 1 tattoo idea, 12 flash variants and 3 try-ons. The Session pack is 19 EUR once for up to 5 ideas and 60 variants. There is no recurring free tier, so browsing costs money from the first idea. Tattoo shops use the Parlour plan at 49 EUR a month.
Will my tattoo artist accept an AI-made design?
Most will treat it as a reference, not a finished drawing. That is the right use. The Session pack includes an export kit made for the artist, so they can see what you want and redraw it for your body. Your tattooer still decides what works on skin and how it will age.
What happens to the skin photo I upload for the try-on?
Uploaded skin photos are wiped within two hours. Nothing is stored and nothing is used for training. If a tool cannot tell you what it does with a photo of your body, do not upload one.
Which tattoo styles can I generate?
Ten: traditional, blackwork, fine-line, dotwork, neo-trad, irezumi, realism, script, geometric and botanical. The library is smaller than the biggest generalist generators. For irezumi and other culturally loaded styles, read the meaning first and talk to an artist trained in that tradition.
Is there a mobile app?
No. Inke runs in the browser, on your phone or your laptop. There is no native app today, so nothing to install and nothing to update.
How is online tattoo design different from a Pinterest search?
Pinterest shows you tattoos that already exist on other people. Inke draws variants of your idea, then puts the one you like on your own skin photo. You see your arm, your placement, your proportions, not a stranger's.
I am a tattooer. Can I use this with clients?
Yes, that is what the Parlour plan is for. It gives you 40 client ideas per month, team seats and an artist-ready PDF pack. You keep your own style and your own hand. The tool speeds up the consultation, it does not replace the session.
